Coco has been in my art lessons at school this term! We got the children to do observational drawing using various mediums; watercolours, watercolour pencils, pastels and charcoal. Yesterday they looked through their portfolios to choose the pieces they most liked. They cut out the elements, and mounted them onto black card.
I have to say, ALL the children did some remarkable work, and I think they were all proud of the end results.... they certainly should be very proud of themselves! They all worked really hard trying the mediums outside their comfort zone, and it was a very rewarding experience for me!
